This complex of 7 lakes offers a variety of fishing options. Some waters offer easy casting with large numbers of Carp to double figures. While other lakes are more challenging, where the angler has to be more aware of his surroundings, the chance of a bigger fish makes this all worthwhile. KETTLES LAKE Andy has chosen Kettles Lake, it has plenty of willing surface feeding Carp to target where Andy will demonstrate various feeding strategies. You will learn how to present flies in different ways, from sitting “high and proud” to sitting low in the surface film when fish are wary. You will learn how to read the Carps behaviour as it approaches your fly. What presentation options to try when Mixer imitations are blown? You will also learn about leaders and leader material as you learn how to present your flies more effectively. What’s provided? Tackle can be provided, but most fly anglers prefer to use their own. The cost of fishing tickets is covered in your booking. What to bring? You will need to bring suitable clothing, plus food and drink, no alcohol please.
