This high performance rod is both light and powerful it’s slim high modulus carbon, ‘middle to tip’ action, blank delivers long accurate casts and gives a crisp feel. The Deceiver is furnished with stainless steel ‘titanium coated’ rings with extra large stripper and butt guides, special ‘power grip’ cork handle, screw reel fitting and mini fighting butt, the final touch of class is it’s superb ’cracked ice’ finish.

This rod has been developed with the modern trend towards medium sized flies. These flies are far easier to cast and are still accounting for very large pike too. This blank has a fast action which has proved most suitable for these more manageable sizes of fly. It has the very light and crisp feel of a much more expensive rod and will prove less tiring to use than many other similar rods on the market.
It will subdue big pike very quickly when used with a heavy leader and wire trace, eliminating excessively long fights which can lead to unnecessary stress to the pike.
The rod was designed to respond best to a #10 line but will handle an #11 weight with ease! The Elite Fly rod is a well balanced rod which may be used in virtually every pike fly fishing situation, from fenland drains to the large trout reservoirs, this rod will also handle tougher sea fishing environments both at home and abroad.
