I was very excited about this bait on its introduction last year, well my confidence was confirmed by outstanding catches throughout the country.

James Gardner and I [Andy] shared a fantastic afternoon on Chew reservoir catching many specimen perch over 3lbs, plus numerous small pike. Their semi transparent bodies with the mother of pearl insert made them look remarkably like the shoaling roach fry that were present on that occassion. The bait is supplied ready rigged with two trebles and a rattle chamber in the tail. Extra tail vibration can be achieved by removing the tail treble.

Thinner body than most other jig & shad combinations this lure has a wide profile "stand up" head that prevents it from rolling over on its side.

On a straight retrieve this jig has a quivering "body wiggle" , my favourite tactic is to occasionally pause the retrieve letting the bait fall quickly which activates it’s vigorous tail action.
