The sinker is inserted into the lure and then fished ‘Wacky-style’ with a worm type hook to give it that super natural motion underwater.

You can let the lure sit in front of that fish waiting for it to strike on a sudden movement of the lure. Because the weight is attached to the lure and not to the hook or to the line you are able to achieve a much more natural, life-like action to lure the fish into striking hard.

I’ve also found these weights to be perfect for "fine tuning" my vertical lures when jigging deep waters such as Grafham & Rutland. When 30g isn’t enough just add 5g or 10g by screwing the weight under the chin of your shad and "bingo" you’re back in the game! Andy Lush
