Designed using only the best waterproof fabric that money can buy, it is rated at a 10,000mm Hydro-stat head, which is waterproof and also breathable! The main advantage of this shelter is simple, its weight, its constructed using a 2 pole design that are made using ultra-light 6061 series aerospace grade aluminium, ultra-light but seriously tough. Its erection and breakdown couldn’t be simpler as it only has 2 breaks per pole, meaning this shelter can be up and down in quick time and you setup in another swim on fish even quicker! The configurations of this bivvy are endless, it can be used with its front on or it can be removed completely and used as an open fronted shelter, very much like a brolly system. With the front zipped in it has mozzi mesh in the side panels and the door, it also has vented panels at the back using the same mozzi mesh, one to keep the bugs out but 2 to create an airflow that is cooling in the summer months. The X-Lite comes with a heavy duty half groundsheet to cut down on the weight and also lightweight heavy duty pegs. To finish the package it also comes supplied with the tension bars as standard.
