So this is what Charles Jardine does with his off-cuts of picture cord ! A great imitative pattern that just shouts "FISH" at the angler. This pattern epitomises the great uses to which certain products can be applied to within the fly tying world. The pattern can be fished dry but for us, trickled through a wave with a large bow wave forming behind...........

Want a high floating imitative Daddy - then here it is, a loopwing CDC Daddy with attitude. Responsible for clearing out a number of large stillwaters in the past few seasons, word has it that one should only fish it for an hour, just so as you don’t get spoiled !

One of the original and great patterns. A simple raffia body, some knotted legs and some furnace hackles and wings - nothing more, nothing less, but boy does it catch fish.

At first we couldn’t find the right diameter cord for Charles Jardines great Cord Daddy so we tried some additional materials and hey Presto ! A great looking fly with a very buoyant detatched body. Fish it as a dry fly or trickled through the waves on the top dropper.

Not now as popular as it once was, this pattern is an original from the famous Rogans of Ballyshannon stable, and carries with it a great heritage for catching Sea Trout and Brown Trout from July onwards. An underwing of Yellow was cited by Mr. Rogan for this, as he claims that the Grasshopper can vary in general colour from very dark to very bright ib colour, yet they always have a splash of yellow on their legs.
