A "Double Strength" leader material made from the highest grade co-polymer coated with fluorocarbon, being less dense than fluorocarbon, ’Tippet’ is ideal for fishing dries and emergers. I’ve become a convert to this material recently when fishing ’washing line’ style, using it for both my top and middle sections whilst employing fluorocarbon for the droppers and point section, this prevents the tip of the fly line sinking and makes it easier to ’hoover’ flies just sub-surface. The higher breaking strains are ideal for floater fishing for spooky carp. |
