The particular body shape and the two front eyelets makes the Yamato an extremely versatile lure. Using the lower eyelet you will be able to produce the classic ’walking the dog’ action, a very attractive movement to catch surface fishes; if the fish activity is low, you can tie the lure to the upper eyelet, just to induce the typical diving action of a jerk. When the Yamato is sunk, you can choose to use two different retrieves: with light twitches you’ll able to work the lure like a jerkbait, while with a constant retrieve the lure will swim like a swimbait, describing the classic "S" trajectory. With the OSP Yamato you can choose different kind of fishing styles: from surface to jerkbait, with its typical flash production or with the S-Stroke action, without changing the lure. |
