Designed to be extremely versatile, the Xtreme Pike Deadbait is the perfect all round pike rod, whether you are leap frogging livebaits down a small Fenland drain or casting a half mackerel into a gravel pit!

During testing, it proved it would comfortably handle large deadbaits with leads up to three ounces, yet is sensitive enough to cast livebaits with confidence.

Its medium fast action provides extremely crisp casting along with positive striking and fish playing characteristics. Suitable for mono or braided lines, this rod is ideal for beginners and the experienced predator angler alike.

Designed to be extremely versatile, the Xtreme Heavy Deadbait is aimed at anglers fishing bigger waters like pits and reserviors where baits are being fished at extreme range, either by casting big leads or by dropping baits at range with the aid of a bait boat.

Throughout its field trials, it proved it would comfortably handle larger deadbaits coupled with leads up to four ounces, yet it remained sensitive enough to cast big livebaits with confidence.

Its medium fast action provides a crisp and powerful cast along with positive striking and fish playing characteristics. Suitable for mono or braided lines, it also doubles as an ideal rod for drifter float fishing.

Dropshotting - the latest type of predator fishing in Europe.

Although Dropshot fishing is already used as a technique for Blackbass fishing in the USA it has now found it’s way to European anglers who have found this technique extremely effective for predator fishing for species such as Perch and Zander.

Especially in Germany and Holland, it is the new style of Predator fishing of the moment.

2 new model rods are the result from a lot of field-testing, even during the prestigious Zander competitions in Holland over the last year. To compare with other company’s who simple put the words dropshot on a spinning rod blank, our rods are specifically designed for the job.

Very important with Dropshot fishing is a rod with a soft tip, something we understand very well, a soft tip allows the fish to take the lure easier. A second very important detail you need is a rod with body to set the hook in the predator’s mouth, and third the rod must be in balance with the reel. After all with a Dropshot rod you need to fish active that means you have to hold it in your hands all the time.

Fox have introduced 2 new Dropshot rods wich are 2.10 meter and 2.40 meter. The 2.10 meter version is often used from the boat where the 2.40 meter is perfect from the bank.

The weights I use generally with these rods vary between 5 and 20 gram.

Designed especially for vertical fishing for Zander and drawing on over 5 years experience using this style in tournaments throughout Europe, I’ve designed what I consider now to be the best rod available for this style of fishing.

Built from very light, high modulus carbon and featuring an ultra fast action with a sensitive tip allowing you to effortlessly feel the bottom and coupled with a stiff butt with loads of hidden power, field trials proved that jig heads between 14g to 28g were most suitable, depending on depth and conditions.

Loaded with a braided line between 4lb and 8 lb depending on venue and conditions and you will have the ultimate vertical Zander outfit!

Developed especially for fishing soft shads, this rod has the perfect tip action allowing you to keep in contact with the bottom and feel even the most sensitive of bites yet retains the perfect balance of power to handle the bigger fish which are often encountered during this style of fishing. Whilst ideally suited to fishing with shads and other soft baits up to 13cm/5" with jig heads up to 21 g during testing these rods were successfully used with bigger shads and heavier jig heads on the occasions they were required.

In addition to the normal cast and retrieve style of fishing, this rod also proved itself ideal when used as a ‘dead rod’ placed in a rod holder and fished just above bottom whilst drifting.......a very popular method during tournament fishing.

Ideally suited for use with braided lines between 4lb to 8lb, heavier lines can be used successfully when the conditions demand.

Jigging demands a rod with the correct sensitivity to detect bites, and yet still have plenty of backbone to set hooks and play fish firmly.

This rod is also a fantastic general purpose lure rod too, and ideal for smaller spinnerbaits. Designed for use with a fixed spool reel loaded with 20 to 30lb BS braid.

Although the lightweight model was designed for targeting smaller species like Zander, Perch and Chub, this rod has hidden reserves of power for dealing with quite large pike when they are undoubtedly encountered. Used in conjunction with a twenty pound braided line and a fixed spool reel, this highly responsive rod will work smaller jigs, tiny spoons and small plugs.

The medium weight rod was designed for tackling Pike and Zander with medium sized jigs, small spinner baits, medium plugs and spoons. Used in conjunction with 30lb braid on a fixed spool reel this is a deceptively powerful outfit which can handle even very large pike.

The Xtreme Pike Spin addresses the trend towards shorter and lighter rods. This is a very responsive rod which is designed for the general purpose lure angler who wishes to use a wide range of lure types in waters ranging from small drains to large reservoirs.

From bank or boat this rod is ideal for spinners, spoons, spinnerbaits, plugs and other lures up to 60 grams. Featuring a progressively powerful action for setting hooks and keeping lively pike from snags and anchor ropes, this rod still retains a very pleasing and positive playing action.

Perfect for casting or trolling with a fixed spool reel loaded with 20lb to 50lb braid.

This rod has been developed with the modern trend towards medium sized flies. These flies are far easier to cast and are still accounting for very large pike too. This blank has a fast action which has proved most suitable for these more manageable sizes of fly. It has the very light and crisp feel of a much more expensive rod and will prove less tiring to use than many other similar rods on the market.
It will subdue big pike very quickly when used with a heavy leader and wire trace, eliminating excessively long fights which can lead to unnecessary stress to the pike.
The rod was designed to respond best to a #10 line but will handle an #11 weight with ease! The Elite Fly rod is a well balanced rod which may be used in virtually every pike fly fishing situation, from fenland drains to the large trout reservoirs, this rod will also handle tougher sea fishing environments both at home and abroad.
