A shallow working ’chop bait’, weighted nose forward, that floats at rest. Can be popped and worked gently just under the surface with slow gentle twitches of the rod tip, or alternatively, it can be worked erractically down to around two metres and paused, to let the lure rise slowly in the water, a method that is highly effective at producing takes.

RRP £6.25 This excellent little lure is best worked with a fast and continuous tap of the rod which sees it flutter it’s way back to you sub surface like an erratic prey fish. Great lure for active Pike when fished around the edge of and over cover, but also effective when pike are finicky from seeing larger Jerkbaits. Slow sinker at one foot every four seconds.

The ’little brother’ to the Runt, this smaller lure has a slightly different shape with the belly and the forehead being more curved, producing an interesting variation in action. The Mini Runt is more crittically weighted and has a very slow and enticing sink rate often producing takes immediately after you stop working the rod. Effective in depths of one to three metres.

The soft rooter is a fast sinking soft plastic lure which has a gentle wiggle and that all important tail ripple that has proved to be a key factor in getting pike to strike.

Designed with two single hooks rigged into the top of the lure, it can be worked close to or even slowly bumping along the bottom without risk of snagging.
